As part of our ongoing efforts, we aim to reduce our environmental footprint via our validated reduction plan by Science Based Target initiative,  improve the use and sourcing of materials through our material strategy 80.80.30, memberships and certifications, and continuously enhance social working conditions through our due diligence, policies and partnerships. We do this through strong partnerships, reliable daily operations, and by expanding the use of preferred materials across our collections. In addition, we actively engage in industry-wide initiatives to drive progress in environmental, social, and governance practices throughout our supply chain.

To ensure transparency and accountability, our Corporate Sustainability Team develops an annual responsibility report, approved by the board and management. The report highlights our progress and future goals within the group, emphasising our ongoing commitment to integrating environmental-, social- and governance practices into all aspects of our business.

You can read more about our efforts in our 2024 Responsibility Report or throughout our website.

At DK Company, our approach to corporate responsibility is guided by what we call the Blooming Concept — a simple yet powerful way to understand how we grow and operate.

We compare the company to a blooming flower. The roots represent our suppliers, forming a strong foundation. The stem symbolizes essential support functions like IT, HR, and finance, which help hold everything together and enable growth. The petals are our brands — the visible and vibrant part of our business, shaped and supported by everything beneath them.

Our key resources — our people, networks, and partnerships — keep this whole system thriving. Our goal is to build lasting, mutually beneficial relationships across the company and with our employees, customers, and suppliers. This is what we call our “4 x win” — creating value for all parties involved.

Surrounding the flower is a rainbow, which stands for the outside world. It reflects energy, opportunities, challenges, and relationships that influence us. By staying engaged with the world around us, DK Company continues to grow in a meaningful and balanced way.

The Blooming Concept reminds us that our success depends not only on strong internal structures but also on how we connect with people, communities, and the world we’re part of.

In short, this strategy reflects our belief in healthy growth — rooted in strong foundations, supported by dedicated teams, and open to the world around us.

Internally, the Blooming Concept serves as a visual and strategic tool to communicate DK Company’s organisation, values and priorities. It simplifies complex interdependencies across departments and clearly shows how every role contributes to the company’s overall direction. By aligning teams under a shared model, it fosters a unified culture focused on collaboration, responsibility, and long-term value creation. This framework is used in onboarding, leadership development, and internal communications to ensure consistency in how we talk about who we are and what we stand for.
